By accessing our website or initiating any cattle-related transaction, you agree to the following terms in full. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website or engage in any business with us.

1. Website Use

1.1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use this site or engage in purchases.

1.2. Permitted Use

The content of this website is for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not use, reproduce, modify, or distribute any content without our written permission.

1.3. Accuracy of Information

We strive for accuracy, but we cannot guarantee that all information (including cattle availability, photos, or blog content) is up-to-date, complete, or free from errors.

2. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, branding, logos, blog posts, and media, is the property of Luckley’s Little Highlands unless otherwise attributed. Unauthorized use or reproduction is strictly prohibited.

3. Privacy Policy

Your use of the website is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, store, and protect your personal data.

4. Highland Cattle Sales and Reservations

4.1. Non-Refundable Deposits

A deposit is required to reserve Highland cattle. This deposit is non-refundable unless otherwise agreed to in writing due to special circumstances (e.g., health issues or death of the calf).

4.2. Reservation Priority

Reservations are honored in the order deposits are received. Calf selection (when applicable) follows this order unless otherwise agreed upon.

4.3. Pricing and Availability

Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to withdraw or substitute available cattle at our discretion. All sales are subject to written confirmation and are not final until the full payment is received.

4.4. Balance Payment

The remaining balance must be paid prior to or at pickup. Accepted payment methods include Zelle, Venmo, Cash, Cashier's Check. Cattle will not be released until payment has cleared.

4.5. Pickup and Delivery

Buyers are responsible for arranging transportation unless we agree otherwise. All transportation costs are the buyer's responsibility. Animals must be picked up by the agreed date or may incur boarding fees.

5. Health & Veterinary Responsibility

5.1. Pre-Sale Health

All cattle will be provided with age-appropriate vaccinations, worming, and health checks before leaving the farm. We do not guarantee specific outcomes of veterinary procedures, future fertility, horn development, or show quality unless stated in a signed agreement.

5.2. Post-Sale Responsibility

Once the cattle leave our property, we are no longer responsible for their care, health, or welfare. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure proper transportation, transition, and veterinary care upon arrival.

6. Guarantees and Warranties

Luckley’s Little Highlands makes no guarantees beyond what is stated in writing at the time of sale. We do not offer guarantees for:

Long-term health after transfer
Future breeding performance
Specific coat colors, sizes, or horn shape (unless guaranteed in writing)

7. Buyer Conduct & Site Submissions

By contacting us or submitting any materials (photos, testimonials, inquiries), you grant us a non-exclusive license to use this material in marketing or on our website, unless you request otherwise in writing.

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or claim arising from the use of this site or the purchase/ownership of livestock. Buyers assume all risks inherent in livestock ownership and management.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Luckley’s Little Highlands, its owners, affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the site or the purchase of livestock.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any legal actions arising shall be brought in the appropriate court within California.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our site and services constitutes acceptance of these changes.
